Our consortium consists of 24 partners from 10 European countries with a well-balanced share in terms of effort among leading academia (universities and a research institute), major telecommunication operators, experienced industrial partners (telecommunication and verticals), and innovative SMEs having a share of one third in the overall effort.
SUSTAIN-6G partner organisations are key players in their area of expertise, and in particular they are leading contributors in the relevant standardisation and industrial fora work (such as 3GPP, ITU, ETSI, NGMN, CEMA, ORAN, CEN-CENELEC, E.DSO, GSMA, or 5G-ACIA), to ensure that the SUSTAIN-6G objectives on impacting 6G standards, the respective roadmaps, but also regulatory policies on sustainability can be achieved. Only by such impact, 6G systems will integrate sustainability as a core asset.
