SUSTAIN-6G Newsletter #3: Insights of almost a year in the SNS JU Lighthouse Project
The third edition of the SUSTAIN-6G newsletter provides a comprehensive overview of the project’s progress as it approaches its second year of activity!
As the Sustainability Lighthouse initiative within the European SNS JU Joint Undertaking, the project continues to develop a holistic framework that embeds environmental, societal, and economic sustainability into next-generation communication systems and their associated vertical sectors.
This issue features the release of the SUSTAIN-6G Terminology Guide, recent technical developments such as Fibre Wireless and All-Optical Network demonstrations, and insights from the project’s External Advisory Group and 4th Plenary Meeting hosted by KU Leuven’s Ghent Campus.
It also showcases the project’s growing presence in international research and industry events, including workshops, conference participation, and collaborations within the SNS community.
Together, these updates reflect the consortium’s ongoing efforts to integrate environmental, social, and economic sustainability into the design and development of next-generation communication networks.
